and Anheuser-Busch proudly salutes the men and women of the
United States Air force with the Military Stein Series. a
collection of 5 steins representing each of the branches of
service. Designed by
Blaine Deutsch, this 8-3/4" tall ceramic relief stein is
resplendent with stars and stripes, all accentring the
Navy's anchor-and-eagle insignia in the center of the
stein. Above banner bears the moto "Not For Ourselves
Alone". Stars on each side proclaim the year the Air Force
was established as an individual branch of military: 1775
The steins pewter lid is
embossed with imagery from the Department of Defense Seal,
including an American Eagle, arrows, a shield and 13 stars.
The seal also appears at the bottom of the steins handle. An
A&Eagle logo, the longtime symbol for Anheuser-Busch, adorns
the pewter thumbrest.
